It is one of the biggest myths that black hair doesn't grow as quickly as other hair colors. As a matter of fact, each and every hair type grows at ½ an inch per month. However, much of it depends on the way you maintain your hair. You can follow some basic tips to grow your hair healthy and long in a short period of time.
Eat healthy food
The health of your body relies solely on the food that you eat. If you do not eat balanced diet each day, you would not be able to have a healthy body, much less healthy hair. Include at least one or two servings of veggies and fruits in your diet and see the way it affects not just the hair but your overall health.
Trim your hair regularly
When you do not trim your hair regularly, you can get split ends that can cause your hair to look rough and unkempt and not to mention it severely affects the growth too. When you get your hair trimmed, make sure you get at least ½ or 1/4th of an inch trimmed from the bottom.
Use products with miniaturization
Black hair is naturally dry and must be taken care of by using the products that contain moisture. This will include the use of shampoos and conditioners that are devised for the dry and/or damaged hair.
Don’t over style
Too much heating and using other means to style your hair can be very damaging and can lead to breakage. It is always advisable to use less styling and enjoy your hair in its natural form if you want them to be healthy and grow naturally.
